Peter Bertone

Peter Bertone is a PhD candidate in Surgical Innovation at Dartmouth College’s Thayer School of Engineering, and the Co-founder and CEO of GyroGel Inc., a biomedical technology company developing a patient-specific bone graft substitute. Peter was trained in biomaterials, tissue engineering, physics, and translational strategies for medical devices. Peter brings experience bridging academic research, medical innovation, and commercialization, with expertise spanning preclinical development, regulatory strategy, and product translation. He also enjoys reading, backcountry skiing, camping, and water color painting.
